All of our fiber assemblies use high quality silica/silica optical fiber, offered in three different transmission ranges. Solarization-resistant fiber is recommended when working with any strong sources of UV light (400nm or below).

We use fiber that has been tested for mechanical defects to 100kpsi. It offers superior radiation resistance and a high laser damage threshold when polished appropriately (ask about custom laser assemblies).
